Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary: This is also known as Indira Gandhi National Park, it is the most scenic national parks in South India. It is situated in the Western Ghats near Pollachi. It provides home for various kinds of fauna like wild bear, flying squirrel, jackal, civet cat, elephant, tiger and birds like black headed oriole, tree pie, spotted dove, green pigeon etc.

Marudhamalai Temple: This is the most famous hindu pilgrimage destination in Tamil Nadu. The Temple is located at the distance of 12kms from Coimbatore on Marudhamalai Hill.

Coimbatore has many tourist spots that include Perur Temple, Udhagamandalam (Ooty), The Sangameshwarar Temple etc.
